Results
XBR Finals 2022: Team Agin came into the Finals with confidence as they had done well the year before. In the 2021 XBR Finals Team Agin rolled a saddle on the first horse. Then went on to win the next three rounds while also claiming the Finals Rodeo Title. So the hope was for 2022 to be just as good. The outcome can only be decided in the arena and many things have to fall into place. Well, this Finals was even better than could have been imagined. Team Agin won all four rounds and the coveted Finals Champion against the XBR’s best teams. Also making this the best Finals performance ever for Team Agin. And in back to back Finals Titles they have won 7 of 8 Go Rounds. An outcome that is a little hard to dream, much less do.
2022 XBR Season: A rodeo season is most of the year. Teams must keep focus and weather the storms that come. Team Agin seemed to be rolling most of the year. Sitting number #1 and winning rodeos like Santa Maria, Folsom, and Sonora. The last quarter of the season saw Team Agin stumble, which is unusual, and they fell to #2 going into the Finals. At the Finals they needed everything to go their way and the team ahead in the standings to hit some road bumps. Well, as luck would have it, that’s what happened. With a staggering 4 Go Round wins Team Agin was able to overtake the points lead. This gave them the 2022 XBR World Title. A prize every competitor wants to achieve. And it also gave Team Agin their 9th XBR World Title. This accomplishment was even more impressive because it allowed them to pass their Dad who has 8 World Titles. Bill Agin is a legend in the sport and is re-guarded as one of the best to ever compete in Xtreme Bronc Riding. Passing their Dad was celebrated by the entire Agin rodeo clan which includes 3 uncles; Dick, Dan & Jeff; who have won World Titles. This accomplishment is one that will be cherished forever!
